Margaret has been practicing Clinical and Health Psychology for around 12 years.  She currently works within the public system, travelling to and from rural and remote areas, and in private practice in Townsville.

Margaret's specific area of focus is on motivating people to learn ways to improve their physical and emotional health and to alter habit forming behaviours in order to improve health and well being and overall quality of life.  Margaret works within a multidisciplinary team to help and assist people to work towards achieving their weight loss goals by offering understanding and assistance in relation to making lifestyle changes, setting realistic goals for behaviour change, and to long term weight loss success.  Margaret's role is also to provide assistance and support to people who have problems with stress, anxiety and depression and to learn alternative ways of coping with disordered eating patterns.
